We must have to find a solution for Waste Management : V.Muraleedharan

A visit to Vilappil Sala(Trivandrum) waste dumping ground.

Development throws up new challenges also. Waste management is one such issue. We, in Kerala who considers ourselves to be a developed region is yet to find a solution to this vexed problem. Be it, Njeliyan Paramb(Calicut),Lalur(Trichur),Brahmapuram(Ernakulam) or Vilappil Sala(Trivandrum) our governments have failed us. The people of all these regions are up in arms against the government. The people of Vilappil Sala has announced that they are not going allow the trucks carrying garbage into their area from the 21st of December. Will the Trivandrum Corporation wake up?
